Hoy les tengo un dato exquisito, esta merluza austral la vende un gran amigo @ese_mar_spa y es exquisita (muy luego va a tener otros pescados). El pescado casi no necesita nada porque están rico. Lo aliñamos con sal, pimienta de naranja, jugo de limón y jugo de naranja. Lo decoré con lonjas de limón y le hubiera puesto naranja pero no quedaba más. Y a horno fuerte por 25 minutos (creo que lo saque unos minutos antes). Al sacarlo lo serví con la mejor salsa de mundo (que les puede servir para otro pescado o marisco). Deben procesar: - 1 yogurt griego - una taza de cilantro (con palos también) - 1/2 taza albahaca - 2 cucharadas de ciboulette - 1/2 cucharadita de mostaza - jugo de un limón - 1 cucharadita de alcaparras Todo bien molido para una salsa homogénea. - sal a gusto #merluzaaustral #pescado #comidasana #inthekitchen #foodblogger

Easy weeknight dinner My kids love when I make tater tot casserole. It is truly a one dish meal of meat potatoes and vegetables That the entire family will enjoy. I served this with some salad on the side. However because there are veggies in this dish salad is not necessary. I just like to have some salad with my meal. You guys these cookies are amazing 👏 I am pretty picky with cookies. Since I am a baker I always get them fresh out of the oven, so I have spoiled myself and I 100% prefer to eat them that way. Due to that I tend to make the cookie dough and portion them out and freeze them so I can just pop a couple in the oven whenever I want them. Normally I freeze them on a cookie sheet then transfer to a ziploc bag but this time I put them in these containers and put half in the fridge and half in the freezer. I set the time for 8 minutes and got distracted so they stayed in a minute longer and by looking at them I thought they were over baked. I prefer mine soft and almost a touch underbaked, as back in middle school we used to be able to buy these giant cookies in the cafeteria that were just crispy on the outside but so soft/raw in the middle it would fall apart when you picked it up. These cookies were not over baked they were actually the best of both worlds, so soft in the middle but crispy on the bottom to give a little texture (which I love). Such a happy mistake! Plus these are not gritty or grainy, I hate to say this as a baker but I like them better then the ones I make from scratch! I highly recommend you trying @mamastoens mixes. You can buy them on their website, on @amazon or their website has the search option so you can find retailers near you. In the midwest they can be found in @hyvee @cobornsgrocery and a few local coops! All these virtual concerts have me craving all kinds of food. Listening to Ali Sethi while ghotofying haleem. Kia baat hai. Makes the process so much more bearable.⁣ I used the @shanfoodsglobal shahi haleem mix Which I swear by. But I make my own additions to it to make it “Karachi”.⁣ I start off by taking the meat and frying it in some oil with 2 table spoons of ginger garlic paste, 3-4 chopped green chilies, 1/2 a bunch of chopped cilantro and brown onions. This gives the meat flavor which in turn will make you haleem flavorful. Next up I add the masala but about 3/4th the packet and add additional salt, ground and roasted cumin and corriander, 1 cup of yogurt and 2 tbsp of tomato paste. Bhuno-fy till they oil is released. Add in the pulses which are already in the Shan packet... in addition to this I add a handful of rice and a handful of mash ki daal water and let it cook for 5-6 hours as directed. Remove the bones. Check the salt and rum a hand blender through the haleem. Now begins the process of ghotna for the lace to come out. You must stir and mix for a solid 20-25 mins for the perfect haleem. Tarka must contain oil, fried onions and Kashmiri lal mirch for that color. And I top it off with a masala my Nani makes in a frying pan: 2 tbsp of zeera, 2 tbsp of corriander and 3-5 fried red chili balls. Roast and grind and sprinkle over the haleem. Let it sit for a few minutes on dum. Serve with condiments, naan Or on its own. You’ll want seconds so make sure you wear elastic pants....⁣ Who am I kidding. We’re all in sweatpants/pajamas ⁣ Xx
